Description:

In this webinar, we will discuss the basics of plasticity
in FEA. You will learn how plasticity works, and what it
can change in your FEA outcomes, plus how to deal with
those pesky stresses that are higher than yield! This
application-oriented webinar will explain the
fundamentals in an enjoyable format without many in-depth
mathematical derivations. Focused on specific
applications and use cases, the session will help
beginners with simulation to quickly grasp the essence of
the different materials models and their usage. Get to
know the limitations of linear material models, when
nonlinear materials should be used, and how they can be
set up on SimScale.

No prior knowledge or software is required to join this
webinar. All participants can get access to SimScale via
the Professional Trial and the Community Plan
respectively. If you are unable to attend the live
session, we would still encourage you to register in
order to receive the recording.
