The release of NOGRID pointsBlow 3.2.0 is available now.
This is new:
New: Boundary point density gradient introduced: The finite point density at the boundary is set to a high value and will decrease by a given gradient to a small value. For that reason the inner part of the glass volume (which has usually a more homogeneous temperature) will be approximated by less points whereas the boundary area with high temperature gradients are approximated by more points. This feature will increase the accuracy while the total number of finite points stays unchanged (so the computation time should remain unchanged). This new feature is activated for all resolutions.
New: The new radiation model (Hybrid-P1 model: computes the heat transfer within the glass by radiation), which was already introduced within the previous release, can be enabled/disabled within the Material page and is part of the case settings now. That means each case can use a different radiation model. In the previous release the activation of the radiation model was saved user-wide. All entries concerning the radiation model within the preferences were removed for that reason.
Fixed: NOGRID license manager notifications were corrected (will not appear anymore if computation is stopped manually).
New: A NOGRID license manager Log file was introduced.
