Seminar Series - Modelling Oil and Gas Applications using CFX-5

ANSYS CFX cordially invites you to attend a one-day seminar dedicated to industrial applications that show how our Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software, CFX, has been successfully applied to a wide range of projects in the Oil & Gas industry.

We are the leading supplier of CFD software in the area of multiphase flow and heat transfer having built our expertise by supporting hundreds of licensed commercial and academic CFX users and successfully completing many consultancy projects.

ANSYS CFX has internationally recognised experts in the fields of Fire& Safety, Combustion and Multiphase flow who will present several case studies ranging from offshore/exploration applications such as:

· Downhole drilling, erosion modelling, pipeline flows, flow assurance, liquid sloshing, phase separation, fire modelling and gas dispersion,

to complex refinery processes including:

Distillation columns, packed beds, fluidised catalytic cracking and reforming.

This seminar is aimed at all engineers, scientists and researchers either directly or indirectly involved with these topics and who would like to know more about the use and benefits of CFD in these areas. Industry case studies, software demonstrations and guest presentations will make up the day.
