PRESS RELEASE – FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

MAJOR RELEASE!

A NEW NAME—AN ENHANCED PRODUCT OPTIMAL SOLUTIONS SOFTWARE INTRODUCES SculptorPLUS

PROVO, UTAH, United States of America – March 19, 2008

Optimal Solutions Software, LLC, developer of Sculptor, the world’s leading CAE real-time design deformation technology, is pleased to announce a major release to its clients: SculptorPLUS.

SculptorPLUS will incorporate the product’s existing features, as well as the below-described attributes, and give the customer the choice to include the T-Spline and/or Grid Clip options described below.

According to Optimal Solutions Software’s President, Mark Landon,

“With the introduction of SculptorPLUS, our customers will now not only be able to more easily create and manipulate arbitrary shape deformation (ASD) volumes, but extremely complex deformations will now become seamless. Improving on a technology to save our clients precious time and money is one of our main goals—we think we have definitely achieved that goal with the release of SculptorPLUS,”

A list of SculptorPLUS functions follows, with more detailed descriptions located at the OSS web site (www.optimalsolutions.us) to better define the new capabilities:

Copy and translate an arbitrary shape deformation (ASD) volume.

Add and delete planes to a volume by a mouse click.

Shrink-wrap a volume around a grid.

Improved graphical user interface.

Incorporate user-defined coordinate systems.

Perform parallelization of the freezing task.

Incorporate overlapping volumes.

Introduce T-Spline volumes (an optional feature within the new SculptorPLUS product).

Grid Clip - Another optional feature of the SculptorPLUS tool is the ability to clip out a portin of a FLUENT case file; deform it; and past it back into the original file.

Ernie Perry, Optimal Solutions Software’s Vice President of Technology Development, adds,

“Optimal Solutions’ client base has (eagerly) asked for more capabilities, and the Optimal Solutions Technology Development team is responding by working day and night to incorporate ‘additional’ features to the SculptorPLUS™ product being introduced today. We think the resulting powerful design performance functionality will only continue to help our customers, large and small, achieve their on-time/on-budget goals.”

About Optimal Solutions Software, LLC – www.optimalsolutions.us

Optimal Solutions Software, LLC, is the developer of a unique technology which performs optimal shape design for the computational fluid dynamic (CFD) and finite element analysis (FEA) industries. With the launch of SculptorPLUS™, OSS is now better able to answer the question of how to improve engineering designs—in the most cost-effective, timely manner.

Sculptor is used to deform analysis meshes used in both CFD and FEA simulations. Using proprietary Arbitrary Shape Deformation (ASD) technology, the user can easily and intuitively change the shape of a model in a smooth and controlled manner. Major changes that previously took months can now be achieved in days; or formerly weeks, now successfully attained in hours.

The “Optimal Solution”

Optimal Solutions’ Sculptor software offers design engineers the ability to reduce costly physical testing and prototyping operations. Any company or industry that designs components with fluid flow, heat and mass transfer, and/or chemically-reacting flows; including combustion, aero elasticity, as well as structural design, benefit from using Sculptor.

Today, the Company has established itself as an innovation leader with a Fortune 100 company customer base; excellent government and complementary CAD/CFD/FEA company track record; a worldwide distribution network; copyrighted, patents-pending software product suite; profitable operations and strong growth projections.

Working synergistically with all the major commercial CFD/FEA pre/post-processing analysis, optimization and visualization vendors, Optimal Solutions has created unique value for the following national and international industries and companies:

• Fortune 500 companies, such as Diamond Aircraft, Boeing, Cessna, Cummins, Hamilton Sundstrand, Honeywell, Solar Turbines, and Lockheed Martin; • Automotive, motorsport and Formula 1 groups, including Aston Martin Racing, Behr Automotive, Lola Cars, McLaren Racing, Subaru, Jaguar, Ford Motor Company, Daimler Chrysler, Visteon, Williams F1, BMW/Sauber, Honda Research Institute, and Honda F1; • Government entities, such as the Department of Energy, Department of Defense, Wright-Patterson AFB, NASA/Stennis AFB, and Eglin AFB; and • Educational institutions, including the University of Southampton, University of Stuttgart, Brigham Young University, and Beijing Institute.

Substantial growth has occurred, and the rate of change will advance, as customers require solutions to ever- increasing design complexity and scope. This environment is creating the need for the Sculptor™ product family and its capability to create significant value for its clients by shortening design cycles, lowering costs/risks for the engineers, and shortening time-to-market.

The Optimal Solutions Team looks forward to helping you solve your challenging design needs and assisting you in improving your bottom line by applying SculptorPLUS to your next CFD/FEA design program.
