Flow Science is holding an all-day workshop on August 31 at the North Carolina Biotechnology Center in Raleigh, NC. In this FLOW-3D workshop, you will be guided through best practice water & environmental simulation workflows using two case use examples: a power-plant effluent discharge and a pump-station jet outflow. Key modeling features include open channel free surface hydraulics, scour & sediment deposition, and thermal plume analysis. Additional topics include shallow water modeling and air entrainment and advanced postprocessing using FlowSight.
The registration fee of $550 includes a 30-day license of FLOW-3D (a $2,000 value).
