Flowmaster Releases Flowmaster V7 Aerospace – The first system simulation software tool, tailored specifically to the needs of the Aerospace Industry

As well as providing existing advanced functionality, including Steady State and Transient analysis, V7 Aerospace brings major improvements in the modelling of Aircraft fluid and thermal systems.

The introduction of a ‘3D Co-ordinate system’, enables the user to rotate an aircraft on its axis and simulate the effects of external body forces upon fuel systems whilst in flight.

ECS engineers will benefit from the ‘Psychrometric Modelling’ functionality which will track and modify changes in moisture and humidity through an environmental control system.

Frequency domain post-processing will aid the optimisation of hydraulic systems. V7 Aerospace also incorporates a catalogue of industry-tailored components. Users can build and customise their own component catalogues - reducing project time and improving the quality and repeatability of initial designs.

By utilising a central database structure and adding powerful security and accessibility controls, V7 Aerospace ensures that simulation data and component models can be safely shared and tracked across your organisation and supply chain.

To showcase the new functionality Flowmaster will be holding Two FREE Online Webinars covering:

1.The effects of Psychrometrics in the modelling of air cycle machines and air distribution systems.

2.Advanced modelling of aircraft fuel systems - Modelling manoeuvres and transient analysis.

Register for the Flowmaster V7 Aerospace Webinars - ECS and Fuel System Simulation
