Lattice-Boltzmann Methods (LBM) became recently a very powerful tool for engineering in Computational Fluid Dynamics. They represent a very efficient competitor to Navier-Stokes based tools. This course aim at presenting the fundamental of LBM, and state-of-the-art applications for engineering problems issued from major industrial companies(Airbus, Renault,...) Examples will illustrate application in different fields: aerodynamics, acoustics, and heat transfer. ============================================ Speakers
