Description:

ICCFD is devoted to all innovative aspects of CFD, basic and applied.

It brings Scientists, Mathematicians and Engineers together. It may be mentioned that the ICNMFD and ISCFD were among the platforms where most of the advances in CFD algorithms were presented and discussed.

It has been the practice to encourage papers based on all current topics.

Subjects of interest include but are not limited to

  • Innovative modeling of flow physics in the area of: compressible and incompressible flows, hypersonic and reacting flows, two-phase flows, flow in porous media, turbulence modeling (LES, DES, DNS, and transition to turbulence), vortex dynamics, boundary layer stability, coupled multi-disciplinary physics
  • Innovative algorithm development for flow simulation, optimisation and control: higher-order methods, iterative methods, multigrid, mesh adaptation, error estimation and control, parallel algorithms. Example topics are: Higher order DG, FV, FE and RDmethods, Kinetic Approach, Adjoint Methods for error estimation, h- p Adaptation and Mesh Optimisation, Domain Decomposition, Multidisciplinary CFD dominant Optimisation, CFD Control Techniques.
  • advanced applications using the above mentioned innovative technology. CFD-dominated multidisciplinary applications including aero-elasticity and aero-acoustics are especially encouraged.
