This one-hour presentation utilizes resources from these three partnering companies in an effort to demonstrate the cost-effective use of CFD in detailed 3-dimensional multiphase flow analysis and virtual prototyping for nuclear power plant and other steam system components.

Atomic Energy Canada will discuss the technical challenges of modeling multiphase flows, and give a synopsis of how the company utilizes multiphase CFD. Fluent Inc. will examine multiphase and boiling model implementation in CFD, and Hatch will cover the use of boiling models for engineering applications.
