Dear interested OpenFOAM users!

The exaFOAM project (exafoam.eu) is organizing the first 
exaFOAM Workshop, which is aimed at pushing the boundaries 
of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) technology using 
OpenFOAM. We invite researchers, practitioners, and students 
from academia, industry and government organizations to 
attend this workshop to learn more about the exaFOAM project 
and its innovative approach to CFD. Participants will also 
have the opportunity to engage in discussions with experts 
in the field. There are no fees to participate.

The exaFOAM project seeks to overcome the current 
limitations of CFD, particularly in the area of massively 
parallel High-Performance Computing (HPC) architectures. The 
project involves the development and validation of a range 
of algorithmic improvements across the entire CFD process 
chain, including preprocessing, simulation, I/O, and post-
processing. The effectiveness of these improvements will be 
demonstrated through a suite of HPC Grand Challenges and 
Industrial Application cases, where engineering design 
through CFD has contributed significantly to industrial 
competitiveness and sustainability across various sectors 
such as transportation, power generation, and disaster 
prevention, among others.
