The exaFOAM project (exafoam.eu) is organizing the first 
exaFOAM Summer School, a three-day event aimed at OpenFOAM 
users with challenges related to High-Performance Computing 
(HPC). Both academic and industrial participants are 
welcome. There are no fees to participate.

We are planning this event as a physical meeting. If the 
pandemic situation changes, the plan can also change and the 
participants will be notified. The exaFOAM Summer School 
will be held from Oct 17 to Oct 19 (Mon-Wed) in the Italian 
supercomputer centre CINECA, in Bologna, Italy. (We will 
miss summer by some weeks, but we will keep the name of the 
event).

There are a limited number of 25 participants. If you are 
interested, please access exafoam.eu/summer-school. The 
submission deadline is on Sep 2. The exaFOAM team will 
analyse all entries and select the participants, aiming at a 
balance between academic and industrial users and a mostly 
broad spectrum of applications.  We will notify the selected 
participants on Sep 9.
