Description:

General Information

In recent years, advances in CFD technology and computing power have made CFD an attractive analysis and design tool for many industries. As the technology matures, it will become increasingly important that all sectors of the CFD community work together to meet the new challenges ahead. The Conference will encourage and actively promote collaborative research by bringing together CFD experts from academe, government and industry to discuss current and future issues in the development and application of CFD. Contributions from all sectors are solicited, across the full spectrum of CFD research and applications including, but not restricted to:

Aerospace
Aero-acoustics
Algorithms
Atmospheric and Environmental Flows
Bio-fluid Mechanics

Abstract Submission

Papers will be accepted on the basis of reviewed abstracts. Abstracts should be between 500 and 1000 words in length. Figures and tables can be added. Deadline for submission of abstracts is December 15, 2001. Submissions can be either by hardcopy or electronically through email attachment, and should include the author name(s), affiliation and email contact information. Please send abstracts to:

Languages

The official languages for CFD 2002 will be English and French. Papers and presentations will be accepted in either language.

Deadlines

December 14, 2001: Abstract submission
January 18, 2002: Notification of acceptance
March 29, 2002: Submission of final manuscripts
May 3, 2002: Advanced registration and hotel bookings
