The workshop provides engineers and researchers the
opportunity to practice hands-on modeling using the FLOW-3D
modeling platform. The models will include a whole blood
spontaneous capillary flow activation model, droplet
generation using flow focusing, a Hong Chamber in-plane
passive micromixer and the use of patterned surfaces in
micro-channels. Special attention will be devoted to
capillary action for free surface and two fluid flow
