Optimization is the act of obtaining the best result under
given circumstances. As every other simulation software,
OpenFOAM® can be used as a black-box
tool and embedded in an optimization loop, striving for the
optimum! In this course we will use Dakota as optimization
driver software.importance in many practical applications.
This course wants
to present the state-of-the-art different simulation
techniques and their implementation in OpenFOAM®.
