sustainable combustion:
Reaction kinetics, and large-molecule (soot, PAH, dioxines)
phenomena
Flame theory, experiments and calculations of laminar and
turbulent flames,
single or multiphase.
New diagnostic techniques
New computational methods
Sustainable combustion: Oxycombustion, chemical looping,
hydrogen and syngas
combustion, biomass combustion, mini- and microcombustors,
and other novel
combustion processes.
Combustion systems: ICE, gas turbines, furnaces
The ignition and propagation of fires in the natural and
built environments.
