Last year in April, ESI-OpenCFD premiered the OpenFOAM User Conference in Frankfurt, Germany with more than 200 participants from all parts of the world. With a mix of about 35 industrial speakers from Automotive, Chemical, Aerospace, Biotechnologies, Marine, Coastal Engineering etc., this event brought OpenFOAM creators and OpenFOAM users together to exchange and share their ideas and knowledge about OpenFOAM.      

This year, ESI-OpenCFD presents the 2nd OpenFOAM User Conference and opens up another opportunity  for all the OpenFOAM users worldwide to meet and  interact with the OpenFOAM developers, support and  training team from ESI-OpenCFD and find more about new developments and interesting projects in OpenFOAM. 

Venue

This event will take place in Berlin, Germany from 7th to 9th October 2014 .  Like last year, this year too, we will host the event at the Steigenberger Hotel, City Center in Berlin, Germany. 

Program

The event would be spread over three days with the first two days being the conference days dedicated to latest advancements, innovative collaboration and industry speakers from all over the world. The third day would be an interesting session for users to specialize their OpenFOAM skills. Watch this space for more details.

Call for Papers

We invite worldwide OpenFOAM users to present at the 2nd OpenFOAM User Conference. The topics relevant to the following industries are most welcome:

• Automotive and Ground Transportation
• Chemical
• Marine
• Energy 
• Heavy Industry

Please submit your abstracts of 300-400 words for consideration by 30th June 2014. Abstracts must be clearly marked with the presentation title, author's name, organization, address, phone numbers and email address.
