Introduction to ANSYS CFX

This is an introductory course in CFD techniques and
analysis using ANSYS CFX, being held at IDAC Ltd in Croydon.
The course is designed for anyone who is new to CFX or
interested in evaluating the software for use at their
company or university. Attendees are usually designers,
engineers or academic staff/students who have some knowledge
of fluid mechanics and general engineering.

IDAC Ltd is an authorized reseller for ANSYS CFX in the
United Kingdom. Besides software sales and license support,
we also provide our clients with engineering consultancy and
training solutions.
The ANSYS CFX course being held at our local office in
Croydon takes the attendees through geometry modeling and
considerations, practical meshing, applying boundary
conditions and post processing. The topics include, but are
not limited to turbulence modeling, grid
generation/refinement, boundary layers, conjugate heat
transfer, multiphase analysis and turbomachinery.
While this is a scheduled course being run at our local
office in Croydon, we also provide on-site customized
training at a time convenient to our customers, covering
topics requested specifically by them.
