This 1-hour webinar will demonstrate how modeFRONTIER can
optimize the
Finite Element Design of an Interior Permanent Magnet (IPM)
Electric Machine
JMAG model through the direct integration node coupling the
two tools.
In an IPM, the shape and orientation of the magnets have a
significant role in
machine output power. Optimizing the magnet
shape/orientation is critical to
maximizing performance. In the webinar we will examine the
performance of the
initial IPM design and then optimize the magnet geometry
with the objective of
maximizing the output torque and minimizing the iron losses.
