ANSYS Belgium Seminar PART I:
Pre-Processing - Geometry and Meshing Seminar
Tuesday, 21st June, 2011
12.00 - 16.00
Radisson Blu Astrid Hotel, Antwerpen, Belgium

Seminar Overview

It all begins with a geometrical model and a mesh! Whether
you are a structural mechanics or computational fluid
dynamics engineer, you will always have to start your
modeling work with a geometrical model and a mesh.

Join us for this half-day free seminar and learn how
engineers are using comprehensive CAD and meshing tools to
create suitable models for their CAE analyses.
Learn how ANSYS SpaceClaim Direct Modeler gives you the
freedom to prepare, modify and parameterize models in a
revolutionary, easy-to-use direct modeling environment.
Hear more about the many meshing performance enhancements
made over the past few releases, and learn how you can take
advantage of those.
Learn how high quality meshes lead to faster turnaround
times.
Take the opportunity to meet and discuss your challenges
with peers, the presenters and ANSYS.
Geometry and mesh are probably amongst the parameters most
affecting the quality of a CAE solution. Fine meshes
typically yield high fidelity results, but they also require
long run times. It is important to find the right balance
between geometry representation, elements size and topology,
accuracy, speed, computer resources, and project deadlines.

This seminar will provide, through a number of real-life
examples, an extensive summary of the CAD and meshing tools
and technologies that are available in ANSYS R13.

Hear from:

CRIG on how to CAD and mesh complex fluid domains.
BUNOVA on how ANSYS CAD and meshing tools are used to create
suitable geometrical models and meshes.
