CFD Events Calendar- Introduction

The CFD Events Calendar is a 100% free service where universities, companies and organizations can advertise conferences, courses, workshops and other events in the field of computational fluid dynamics.

How to Find an Event

The Event List allows you to browse all upcoming events. By using the pull-down menus at the top of the list you can filter the events based on application area, field, software, type of event and location. This makes it easy to find appropriate events that are focused just on the areas that interests you.

There is also a special geographical browse function that allows you to quickly find events based on their location.

If you can't find what you are looking for you can also try the search function on the front page.

How to Post an Event

Anyone can submit new events by using the online form. All submissions are reviewed by an editor before they are published online. Any help with registering events is highly appreciated - if you know of an event that should be included here please take the time to register it.

When posting an event you have the option to password protect the event-record. If you do this only those who know the password will be able to modify or delete the event-record. If you don't set a password anyone can modify or delete the event record. Please do not set a password if you are not responsible for the event - that way it will be possible for those who are responsible for the event to add information later. All modifications and deletetions are moderated by an editor so there is no risk that something will be deleted or modified without a reason.

How to Modify or Delete an Event

First locate and display the event. At the bottom of the event-record there are two form buttons that allow you to edit or delete that event. Note that if a password was set when the event was first posted then you need to know that password to be able to edit or delete the event record.
