The 11th OpenFOAM® Workshop will be held in Guimarães, Portugal, at the Vila Flor Cultural Centre, from the 26th to the 30th of June, 2016, and will be organized by the IPC/i3N-Institute of Polymers and Composites from the University of Minho. Since its inception, in 2006, the OpenFOAM® Workshop is attended by a large group of users and developers, both from industry and academy, interested in the OpenFOAM® technology, which currently covers a wide range of applications.
The OpenFOAM® Workshop is open to everyone regardless of origin and/or area of activity.
The Workshop includes several training courses in different levels of OpenFOAM®. These courses are for beginners as well as experienced users and developers, which will be taught by experts and programmers of OpenFOAM® technology. In this edition, we allow you to choose the courses you would like to be taught!

• Jan 25th to Mar 18th, 2016 - Call for Abstracts for oral presentations and/or posters;

Notes:

• The courses are currently being planned, at least until the 15th of May 2016. The page with the ongoing course plans will be updated periodically and is located here: http://www.openfoamworkshop.org/courses
• The preliminary program for the Workshop is already available and it will be updated periodically as well: http://www.openfoamworkshop.org/program
• The USB-stick image is currently in development. The first public image should be available sometime near the end of January. The content planned for the USB-stick is also available at the previous link.
• We're open to propositions/requests for courses and for the USB-stick, from both instructors and participants, therefore please contact us via email to ofw11@openfoamworkshop.org or leave comments in the posts below and let your voice/opinions be heard!

Just to all let you know that the first public version (already version 3) of the USB-stick image and Virtual Machine Appliance for VirtualBox is already up.

And FYI, I'm part of this year's local organization committee: http://www.openfoamworkshop.org/organisation - and I'm (only) responsible for the USB-stick development, as well as for the organization/planning of training courses day.


Therefore, please, do let your thoughts and voices be heard on what you want for this year's USB-stick and Courses at the OFW11!
And do sign up for the Workshop as soon as you can! Or at least let the organization know that you plan on attending and that you will register as soon as you can, as explained in the first post!

Quick answer: the proceedings took a while to upload. I vaguely remember that the book of abstracts was available in the last day of the workshop.

The proceedings et al are currently available on the workshop website (link above in the first post) and on the menu item "Program" you can find the:

1. Final Program
2. Book of Abstracts
3. Contributions (Download)

In the "Contributions" page is where you will find the downloadable presentations. There were some issues (big workshop to organize, some minor flaws were inevitable) and the presentations are not yet all uploaded; and some were not allowed to be uploaded (data was not published yet in any articles).



As for the training material, visit the page for the menu item "Training Courses" -> "Training Courses".
