Hi,
I just checked my grid and i've got only 2 left-handed faces (32Mio right-handed). So I wanted to repair them with grid/modify-zone/repair-face-handedness .... but that does not work. "Left-handed faces can't no converted to right-handed faces. All face nodes have the right order, but the mesh probably contains non-convex cells." I also checked my minimum volume and it is not negative. Any ideas? How can I visualize these 2 faces to see if they might influence convergence (which I can't achieve right now)? Hi!
As I remember you can find the location of this cells by Display/Vectors/Color by Mesh/Face Handedness. I had the same problem once and I remeshed the volume with such cells (there were geometry problems). |

It happens when your mesh is penetrating into your geometry and therefore Fluent does not report this as negative volume.
Initialize the flow with arbitrary values and plot the contour of mesh>>> skew ness and change the scale to 0.99 to 1.0 and you should be able to see the location of that element. |
