Can anyone tell me how this guys created the zone (fluid_valve_prisms ;youtube video time= 3:53) from the inflation layer elements

Hi, you need to mark adoption region and separate it inside fluent interface. Go step-by-step:

1)Create mesh normally with one cell zone for boundary layer and mean flow.

2)After loading it in fluent, go Adapt=>Boundary, select Cell Distance, wall from which you want to create separate zone and numper of inflation layer cells to separate. Press MARK button.

3)Go to Mesh=>Separate=>Cells and select mark, register (appears here after previous step) and zone.

4)You got it separated! May be used for patching, dynamic zones etc.
