Hi, you need to mark adoption region and separate it inside fluent interface. Go step-by-step:
1)Create mesh normally with one cell zone for boundary layer and mean flow. 2)After loading it in fluent, go Adapt=>Boundary, select Cell Distance, wall from which you want to create separate zone and numper of inflation layer cells to separate. Press MARK button. 3)Go to Mesh=>Separate=>Cells and select mark, register (appears here after previous step) and zone. 4)You got it separated! May be used for patching, dynamic zones etc. |
