Applications are invited for a self-funded PhD or MSc by Research position on
"Design and Analysis of Aerospace Smart Structures" to support the development
of next-generation aerospace vehicles. The successful candidate will develop new
and enhanced models for aeroelasticity of highly flexible next-generation
aerospace smart structures.
Preferably the candidates have
1. For PhD position, MSc and BSc degrees in aerospace engineering, mechanical
engineering, civil engineering, applied mathematics or applied physics. However,
for MSc by Research position, BSc degrees in aerospace engineering, mechanical
engineering, civil engineering, applied mathematics or applied physics.
2. Solid knowledge of mathematics and physics
3. Good skills in developing computer code in MATLAB, Python or C++
4. Good skills in engineering software as ANSYS, ABAQUS or STAR CCM+
