Postdoctoral Researcher Position in Combustion Modeling – Applied Computing & 
Thermofluid Lab, National Tsing Hua University (QS World University Rankings

The Applied Computing & Thermofluid Lab (PI: Dr. Lin), affiliated with the 
Department of Engineering and System Science at National Tsing Hua University 
(NTHU), is inviting applications for one postdoctoral researcher position in 
combustion simulations, beginning February 1, 2026.

Research Focus:
Combustion simulations using ANSYS Fluent (or OpenFOAM) and advanced chemical 
kinetic modeling tools.
The project will integrate both computational and experimental work to advance 
combustion science and its applications.

Appointment & Benefits:
Start date: February 1, 2026
Annual salary: 747,600 TWD
Year-end bonus: Equivalent to 1.5 months of salary
Additional support: Opportunities for research collaboration, conference travel,
