Applications are invited for Senior Project Engineer position for a CFD 
development project at IIT Delhi.

Description of the work:
The project involves development of user-interface design and performance 
enhancement of an existing scientific computing software. The development will 
involve implementation of simple UI designs using Qt/widgets/ImGUI/Javascript, 
testing the software and writing maintainable code.  The project is a sponsored 
research project that involves working with the Ministry of Shipping, Ports and 
Waterways.

Required Qualifications: 
M. Tech. 1st class or equivalent in the appropriate discipline OR B.Tech. 1st 
Class or equivalent with 3 years experience. The prospective candidate should 
have a Masters/B. Tech degree from a renowned institution in Computer Science, 
IT, Electronics, Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical or Civil engineering with 
knowledge in scientific computing and basic understand of physics. The 
prospective candidate should have sound mathematical skills and very good 
programming skills in developing user interfaces, object oriented design and 
high performance computing. The candidate should be well versed in C++ and 
additionally in python, javascript or any other modern programming languages. 
The candidate needs to be resourceful and motivated to build useful industry 
friendly software.

Desired qualifications: 
In addition to the above it will be desirable to have knowledge of computational 
fluid dynamics, computational geometry and  scientific visualisation. It will be 
preferable to have knowledge on visualisation library such as VTK and computer 
graphics in general.

The initial duration of the post will be for 1 year and can be extended up to 3 
years, and further possibilities can be discussed.
