Hi,guys.
My original data had 12 significant digits if I use fluent to export data with ASCII format. When I try to set contour level in Tecplot it seem to be limited within 6 significant digits(when I try manual to set levels with 7 significant digits data but the last digit is automatically removed,Please see the figures I upload)? How can I increase number of significant digits in tecplot setting cotours level, not the legend lables number format.? Is anyone know how to solve this problem? Thanks~~~ Last edited by JohnE; April 15, 2022 at 00:53. |

Tecplot 360 loads and stores data as double precision. So this is a dialog display issue, not a data issue. There is currently no way to change the precision displayed in those fields.
You should be able to see the full precision in the Data>Spreadsheet. The Write Data as Formatted Text feature has a "Change Variable Format" dialog - so if you're writing to CSV you can specify the precision there. I hope this helps. |
