I am using Tecplot to graph the flow field in a 3-D (Cartesian coordinate) tank. But I don't know how to show the contour and vector plot in 3-D and 2-D manners. Could anyone help.

You got to add the following to the header of your data file for tecplot to handle it.

VARIABLES= x y p ZONE I=201 J =101 DATAPACKING=POINT

Assuming you store only one value if you store more than one you need to change that in variables.Similarly for 3-D
