I am trying to explore time-accurate turbomachinery simulations using SU2 (v7.0.7). I am looking for simulating flow solutions with vibrating rotor blades (with appropriate number of passages modeled from aeroelastic perspective).
At the moment, I am working with 2-D models. And, it seems, applying a periodic BC does not allow any type of unsteady simulations, be it oscillating blade or vortex shedding simulation (without any blade motion). Kindly let me know if it is the case; and, if it is the case, is there any work around for simulating such cases in SU2? Thank you. |
