Some people expressed an interest in SU2 GUI version in a YouTube presentation made by the SU2 team.
Now it is available in the Chrome Web Store as a free app. Click here if you are interested in it. If you don't want to use the Chrome Web Store, you can also access the app directly here. So, it is better than a desktop GUI version. No compiling, no installation, and no third party viewers such as ParaView are needed. But you do need two things to run the app. 1. The latest Google Chrome Browser 2. A little appreciation for those Americans who invented the Internet:-) |

Not a bad first attempt. The biggest thing I see missing is the output of Cl, Cd, and Cm. It would also be good if you explained each input. Ideally, what I would really like is the ability to do sweeps from 0 to 90 degrees. Having plots of Cl, Cd, and Cm. The software would have to adjust all of it's inputs depending on angle of attack to arrive at a solution. I am not sure at what AoA SU2 will fail to solve. That would be an additional challenge to overcome. As inputs, from a user point of view, I would only want to have to specify altitude, airfoil, and AoA range. All other inputs to the code being done behind the scenes and automatically.

Good Work but needs lot of improvements.
Minimum cl, cd, cm and cp are worth to add. |
