Dear SU2 team,
I am trying some grid sensitive shock instability test cases with SU2 and I am not getting the expected results. I feel it may be due to the formation of dual cell from primal grid, which is changing the edge alignment and aspect ratio of the grid. But my simulations are very sensitive to grids and any small change in grid size or aspect ratio may results in wrong results. Is there any way to take the grid as it is what I give (i.e the primal grid)? Is it possible to convert the vertex based method to cell center based method? or Is there any way to form of solution which can help ti fix this issue? Thank you very much.!!! |

Unfortunately it is not trivial but, if you have a Cartesian mesh, both formulation should be equivalent.
