Can anyone point me to the necessary documentation for creating a movie of a scalar scene for an unsteady simulation in StarCCM+ ??

My question with this particular animation is this: I want to focus the movie on a very small part of the computational domain. When I have done the instantaneous scalar scene I have used the zoom tools to focus on the specific region and then do the hardcopy. So when I do this frame write outs if I leave the scalar scene zoomed to my required region will StarCCM+ only capture that section or will it do the entire scene? Doing the entire scene kinda loses some of the close up details I am looking for that I can see in the closeup zoomed in view. |

Does that mean as long as both scenes are open it will work or does it mean that only one open scene can be animated the one that is on the top? |

Making the scalar scene active is just part of the tutorial, but has no influence in the animations. Just tick the "Output Frame To File" option: scalar scene > attributes > update |
