I have a problem to create the prism layer on a rectangular domain.
In particular, the lines do not intersect but a diagonal is created as you can see in the photo.
I set: as distribution mode the wall thickness,in fact the prism layer must be created in the surface above, below and on the left side.
I also set the geometric progression as stretching function but,as you can see, the thickness remains the same.
Do you have any suggestions to solve the problem?
Thank you

if the image is a cross section through the mesh using a section plane to display the mesh on a corner then the corner diagonals are what you should expect.

concerning the lack of growth i imagine you have misinterpreted the prism layer settings for the options you have chosen or made an error in the numbers entered.

Thanks,
for the diagonal I didn't understand how to remove it, the image is not a cross section through the mesh.

well you need to show more details of how you are displaying that mesh maybe in 3D and from different directions, but I still think that the prism mesher is working as we expect at a concave corner

I think I know what you mean. You have a surface and another surface at 90 degrees to the first one and you want to grow layers on both surfaces.

There is a setting in the prism layers (but I can't remember which one exactly) which controls whether the layers grown from one surface will follow the other surface (in other words, layers will be grown on both surfaces) in which case the result will be what you have. I think the diagonal from the corner point is essential in that case.

Perhaps the question is whether you need layers on both surfaces.
