Star CD licencse problem

I am a very new user of star-cd. I have some mdl file from my friends, but I cannot run the flow at all. Everytime I tried to run that, I will get the information like, 13-sep-2006 license file is not found, something like this.

The mdl file I got from my friend was created by star-cd 3.26, but mine is 4.02. Does that matter if we use different versions?

Can anyone help with this?

You need a license to run STAR-CD. Its telling you don't have one or if you do, you did not start up the license manager.
