Could you tell me please, how we can control y+ in Star-CD, and is there any facility to generate compersed grids near the walls?

This free website allows us to search for topics already discussed. U can see at the menu button at top right above. U will find similar questions perhaps answered.
However, there are NEW updates in NEW version of Star-CD on SAME old holy grail topic which might be worth picking up, re-visiting or re-discussing. Hybrid wall and y+ independence of newest turbulence model for example. Happy New Year! |

Hi First Of I would Like to suggest u pls go through u ProAm worked examples, there we can find how to control Y+ value depending upon internal or external flow.Refere these keywords Extrusion Layer option,Non extrusion surface and thickness.
