Zero-Grad Pressure

Hi all,
I just have a single simple question, which I couldnt find the answer in the user guide. in the pressure BC option, what does it mean by 'zero-grad' for the turbulence switch? when are we supposed to use it as oppose to k/Epsilon? Thanks shazlan |

when u dont know the turbulence intensity or k/e value at any boundary (prefarably outflow) at that position u can give zero-grad so that those value is calculated from er interior solution domain or computational domain.

So, if star can calculate those values for us, whats the point of inputting the parameters to begin with?

Usually you use zero-grad option it you have "outlet" pressure boundary and specified turbulence parameters if you use "inlet" pressure boundary
