Hi,
I am trying to create a domain with two regions, each with a different water level. So this simulation is a dam-break on to wet bed condition. In the manual there are instructions on setting the 'Phase 1' limits using F 51 to F 56 or F 70. But how do we create two different regions? Is it done through creating two domains? Thanks in advance, Ananth. |

Hi Ananth,
In order to initialise two regions of still water levels, use F 70. All commands with an * next to them can be issued multiple times (In the case of F 70, a typo has resulted in the * being after the double, will be fixed in the next release). Eg. F 70 0.0 0.3 0.0 0.05 0.0 0.8 F 70 0.0 2.0 0.0 0.05 0.0 0.05 will result in a "wet" dam break with a thin layer of d=0.05 m throughout a 2 m 2D domain and a dam break of 0.3 x 0.8 m.
