Hi,REEF3D team
Thanks to your software. I use it to simulate water impact and refer to this article," Kamath A., Bihs H., Arntsen Ø.A. (2017)Study of Water Impact and Entry of Free Falling Wedge Using CFD Simulations, Journal of Offshore Mechanics and Arctic Engineering, Vol. 139 (3), pp. 031802",DOI: 10.1115/1.4035384 My question is that ,when I use a wedge(X 163) from reef3d,it can work, but when I use other models to calculate. The STL file can be read in, but it is just doing free fall, which has no coupling with the flow field and water area, ctrl.txt has not changed. So I'm confused how to make it calculate.Thank you very much. |

Hi Allison,
we need a bit more information about your case in order to understand what is going on. Can you explain a bit more? Cheers Hans |

Hi
Thank you for your reply, I think a few paragraphs on the forum may be difficult to describe the question clearly, so I explain the process of the problem and the relevant files in an email. The mail was just sent to you, Looking forward to your reply. Sincerely, Allison |
