What would be the procedure to be able to solve for Complex (complex as in complex numbers, with a real and imaginary parts) fields.
Complex number support seems to be present in OpenFOAM, but no such thing as volComplexField, volComplexVectorField, etc. What would be the procedure to be able to use ddt and div, grad etc schemes with complex numbers?? And finally the boundary conditions? What will have to be done to make the solver, so that solve(...) can be used? Has any work already gone in this direction? |

This would be a great feature indeed...
but quite "complex" to implement. I wonder if there is some workaround to define solvers using separately two fields (real and imaginary part) Quote:
