Hi,
I'm looking for the most efficient way to interpolate values from an internal (arbitrary) plane to a patch between different meshes (and size). My first idea was to use a cuttingPlane that intersects the source mesh at the desired position and to sample the corresponding field values along the plane. But what would be the easiest way to do the interpolation to the desired patch of the target mesh? (PatchToPachInterpolation? better alternatives?, mapFields does it only for volFields). And whats about the cell order of the sampled field values and the target patch? Best regards Matthias |
