A Japanese OpenFOAM community is holding a meeting under the name of Open-source CAE Workshop on Nov. 13, 2008 at The University of Tokyo.

Planned topics as of now include applications of OF capabilities to indoor/outdoor building engineering, soldering/sloshing simulation using OF, opensource software package development for and deployment to computational engineering educations, large-scale parallel computation/visualization with OF/ParaView, and future community organization.

Hi,
A last minute notification: the participant registration of the workshop held on Nov 13 at the University of Tokyo has to be closed at 17:00 of Nov 12 JST due to the number of attendee getting close to full capacity.
