OpenFoam V11 not solving Dynamic Mesh

Hello, I'm having problems on running a 3D case in which i need the mesh to addapt to the displacement due to a vertical oscillation of an object. All the scripts such as ControlDict, fvSchemes, fvSolution, dynamicMeshDict and pointDisplacement files should be correct. What happens is that when trying to run the case or simply run moveDynamicMesh the solver only solves the fluid for a static mesh, as if it didn't understant that the mesh has to be dynamic and be solved.
So what I have tried is to run the following case (which should run the dynamic mesh without any problem): https://cfdmonkey.com/dynamic-mesh-o...cribed-motion/. For which as it shows in the website, it should solve the mesh displacement for each iteration: The same happened with this case, when solving it, it only runs Pimple to solve the fluid conditions and creates many folders (for each timestep) but each of them having the same static mesh in the same static position, and appears the following: Time = 9.999s PIMPLE: Iteration 1 PIMPLE: Iteration 2 ExecutionTime = 1.397944 s ClockTime = 1 s Time = 9.9995s PIMPLE: Iteration 1 PIMPLE: Iteration 2 ExecutionTime = 1.398013 s ClockTime = 1 s Does anyone know if this version of OpenFoam (https://openfoam.org/download/11-ubuntu/) is lacking from a dynamicMeshSolver or if I am missing anything else? It is strange that the same happens for a completely working external case. Thank you!!!! |
