Dear Foamers,
Since I want to simulate CO2 sequestration in saline aquifer in the geological plates (two-phase groundwater flow with chemical transfer inside), I need to do a multiphase flow simulation to finish that. After some research, it seems that I have to reform one of multiphase solver of OpenFOAM and take porosity into all the transport equations. So I choose icoReactingMultiphaseInterFoam because of familiarity. And soon I find out it is hard to adjust the alphaEqn to the form that I want to calculate. And here are the questions I want to ask: 1.How can I import porosity into alphaEqn? Or even other equations? 2.Is VoF mixture method suitable for calculating groundwater flow? Should I convert to Eularian-Eularian solver? Best regards, FengHsien |
