Hello all,

Let say I am using a very simple solver like scalarTransportFoam. Normally, I would expect that if I put the boundary condition for T as fixedGradient, I would get the same result as I put mixed bc with value valueFraction of 0.

Quote:
inlet
{
type mixed;
refValue uniform 0;
refGradient uniform 0.1;
valueFraction uniform 0;
}
Quote:
inlet
{
type fixedGradient;
gradient uniform 0.1;

}
However, surprisingly, I would get different results. The value of the first cell is quite different for each of the cases! Do you have an idea why this happens?
