Hi,
i simulate with OpenFOAM with the following workflow: Windows: Ansys CFD PrepPost (Windows) for Meshing -> Export Fluent .msh (ASCII) -> convert *.msh with Dos2Unix to Unix Format-> copy to Ubuntu Ubuntu: solve and postprocess with Ubuntu (ext4 Fileformat). Now the Meshes got bigger. I run out of space so the admin in our company gave us a NAS with windows NTFS SSD disks. Does the NTFS Fileformat make a difference? I will use the NAS SSD Disks as a mounted network drive in Ubuntu for OpenFOAM. Last edited by fanta; November 22, 2023 at 06:24. Reason: typos |
