Hi all,
I'm going to simulate flow over an ellipse with the k-omega-SST Improved Delayed Detached Eddy Simulation (IDDES) in openFoam. I have created a mesh with snappyHexMesh and I use y+=1 to resolve the boundary layer. However, I could not get reasionable results, I have attached Turbulent Kinetic Energy (K) and DES region for you. As you can see from K contour it is not on the wall! Besides, DES region is devided in some irrelevant parts! I would appreciate it if you help me in this matter. |

I'm still interested in receiving your opinions.
Thank you. |
