Hi all,

I am trying to simulate a cylinder while moving with a prescribed movement. While having a y+ mesh around 100, the FV methods based on the laplacian solver work (OpenFoam 2212 and a proper diffusivity law), but with a y+ mesh around 1, the same approach does not work and I get inverted cells at first deltaT.

According to the foam-extend 4.1 release notes:
* Finite Element Method with support for polyhedral meshes This is
mainly used in mesh deformation and over the last 15 years it has
proven vastly superior to all other dynamic mesh methods.

But, I am not able to find any tutorial in the repository to use it, neither in foam-extend 4.1 of 5.0.

I have seen some tutorials using RBF or mesquite, but if I am not wrong, they are fv methods.

Best Regards
M.
