Hello,

I was looking around the OF tutorials and found Multi-world tutorials.

Does anyone have any information on this feature? Is it supposed to be an alternative to ChtMultiRegionFoam?

You can run case1 with "n" processors and then run case2 with "k" processors. Afterwards, it takes data from case1 and puts it in case2 via the mapped boundary condition? Does it do this at each time step?

Where can I find more information?

Kind Regards

Hi,

Maybe you have already seen it, but there are few information in the release notes:
AFAIK this is a work in progress, so you might struggle to find examples using this approach.

Regards,
Yann

Hi Mr. Yann and thank you for the reply.

I see I will have to wait a like bit more for further information.

However, what is the main goal here? Replace CHTMultiRegion?

It could be used to any kind of physics requiring coupling regions. The first applications coming to my mind are Conjugate Heat Transfer and Fluid-Structure Interaction, but I guess there might be other problems which might benefit from such approach.
