Luiz is on a distinguished road
I am adding particles to a current validated simulation, in which I used pimpleFoam. In the converting process, from pimpleFoam to MPPICFoam, I found out that not all the SGS models are available in this solver, which is very confusing, because, to my current knowledge, MPPICFoam and DPMFoam are built upon the incompressible solver pimpleFoam (OpenFoam v2112). My questions are:

- What is the reason why only the original Smagorinsky and the k-eqn SGS are available to MPPICFoam?
- Why the same BC used to solve the pimpleFoam model do not apply for the main phase in MPPICFoam?

For the latter question: I am working on an open-channel in which I used the rigid-lid assumption (My Froude Number = 0.102), the pressure was fixed as 0 at the outlet and Neumann conditions (zeroGradient) were set on the walls and the inlet used the turbulentDFSEM method with a pre-calculated interpolated field. I used the WALE model that is not available in the MPPICFoam.
