Hello,
I'm currently looking into simulating pipe flow using simpleFoam, but have a little trouble with incorporating/changing the wall roughness. From what I know the roughness isn't given in with initial conditions so I looked into some source code. But that search wasn't really helping. Does anybody know how wall roughness is incorporated and where to change this property? Thank you very much in advance! Dennis |

Hi this can be done using the nutkRoughWallFunction. Try googling it or find the source code:
Code:
find $FOAM_SRC -iname *nutkRoughWallFunction* |
